UV bonding

We use a one-part solventless photocurable UV adhesive based on acrylate resin.

Hardening takes place very rapidly, by exposure to UVA rays under the action of lamps generating light that is 100 to 1,000 times as intense as normal daylight. Polymerisation can also be achieved in visible light, but takes much longer.

This glue has good resistance to ageing and humidity, as well as bonding well to various surfaces.

The user has the advantage of economical adhesive treatment, which can be integrated flexibly into the processes. Depending on the volumes concerned, the process can be automated to a greater or lesser degree.

We assemble photodiodes on optical components in PC, or concave and convex microlens network plates in PMMA on metal mechanisms for lighting systems.
